NEW PROGRAM SUPPORTING LOCAL DESIGNERS LAUNCHED AT DRIFT!!

The Scenario: Oakland/Berkeley/SF is jam packed with hot emerging jewelry/handbag/clothing designers and of course with the high cost of rents in the beautiful Bay Area, its hard to have a studio space to create and promote your goods, but its still a neccesity.

The Solution: Everyone who works at/with Drift is an artist in some capacity and knows this money-time-space dilema very well and so when brainstorming how to work directly with local designers and promote emerging designers in the Bay Area we thought it would be awesome to bring the designer in-house by offering rock bottom rent for the prime loft space at Drift, turning it into a studio and renting it to local designers in need of local, affordable space in the growing neighborhood of Old Oakland. We also thought it would be killer to showcase the in-house designers work as it flourishes at Drift.
